Record-breaking British artist and others exhibiting in church built by Christopher Wren

LONDON, July 08, 2014 — /EPR NETWORK/ — A new, free exhibition featuring an 8ft bronze sculpture by Damien Hirst will open this summer in the incredible surroundings of a seventeenth-century church designed by Sir Christopher Wren in the heart of the City of London. Odyssey will fill St Edmund in the City with sculptures that explore big themes of life and death, running from 27th June – 18th July 2014 at the church on Lombard Street, London. The exhibition has been devised and curated by London’s bo.lee Gallery, which, since its establishment in 2009, has developed a reputation for showing contemporary art covering complex subjects. The church is one of several Wren buildings in the City, and is only a short distance from his masterpiece, St Paul’s Cathedral. Historic photographs go on show of the colourful punk scene at its height in London and New York

LONDON, July 08, 2014 — /EPR NETWORK/ — A new photographic exhibition in the centre of the City of London will open next month featuring some of the world’s greatest images of the punk rock movement. Curated by punk writer and theorist Jon Savage, the exhibition is called I Got You In My Camera: Punk 1976-1979 and will run from 2nd July to 27th July at the Olympus Rockarchive Image Space Gallery at 199 Bishopsgate. The gallery is located in the heart of the City, close to St Paul’s Cathedral, the Bank Of England and other symbols of the British establishment that the punk movement so disliked.
