It’s business as usual for all deliveries, whatever their size
Thursday November 5, 2009 - CUSTOMERS have no need to worry about the effects of the Royal Mail workers’ strike when they order goods from the Co-operative Electrical.
That’s because the company always uses either its own dedicated delivery teams, or a private courier firm, to handle all deliveries.
Not only does this mean that deliveries are unaffected by the current industrial action by Royal Mail staff, but also that Co-operative Electrical can offer its customers a delivery service which is more tailored to their needs.
For instance, for all major kitchen appliances such as cookers and Large LCD TVs, the company offers a Rapid Delivery service, using its own dedicated delivery team. They will deliver to customers, place the item in the room where it is required, unpack it, and take away all the packaging to be recycled.
“We take our commitment to our customers one stage further, by offering to remove their old appliances in certain instances, saving them the trouble of having to make other arrangements,” said Co-operative Electrical’s Sales Manager Chris Barker..
