Press Release Body: Surviving infidelity in their marriage has certainly put relationship coaches Doug and Chris Young into the spotlight. TheyРІР‚в„ўve attracted huge media attention in the UK since facing massive challenges 25 years into their marriage, overcoming them and coming out of it much stronger.
РІР‚ВWeРІР‚в„ўve really been amazed at the amount of publicity that weРІР‚в„ўve receivedРІР‚в„ў said Chris. РІР‚ВIt all started when I was contacted by a journalist who wanted to take our story about surviving extra marital affairs to one on the national newspapers. That has led to a string of very high profile articles in newspapers and magazines and a number of interviews on prime time national TVРІР‚в„ў.
Their story started when Doug confessed to Chris that he had been unfaithful to her repeatedly throughout their 25 marriage, including a number of one night stands and an 18 month affair with ChrisРІР‚в„ўs best friend.
РІР‚ВWe were at a relationship seminar at the time and I just knew that the time was right to finally be honest and give Chris the choice on whether to stay with me or not.РІР‚в„ў admits Doug.
Amazingly Chris decided to forgive Doug and the couple have worked through it all and come out of it with much stronger marriage and relationship than they ever had before.
РІР‚ВOf course it wasnРІР‚в„ўt easyРІР‚в„ў, says Chris РІР‚Вbeing relationship coaches ourselves I suppose we were in a stronger position than most to deal with it but what we found was that when it happens to you itРІР‚в„ўs a whole new ball game. The most difficult part was that although there were plenty of other relationship coaches and counsellors offering their support to us none of them really knew what we were going throughРІР‚в„ў.
РІР‚ВOnly couples whoРІР‚в„ўve been though extra marital affairs themselves, survived it and come out of it stronger can really appreciate what you go through and what it takesРІР‚в„ў.
РІР‚ВHaving come through our own crisis we thought , well as thereРІР‚в„ўs no one out there offering help whoРІР‚в„ўs got first hand experience on surviving infidelity why donРІР‚в„ўt we become those people. And so now weРІР‚в„ўve turned our attention to doing just that.РІР‚в„ў
РІР‚ВPeople constantly tell us that according to the statistics 80% of partners wouldnРІР‚в„ўt consider staying with a partner whoРІР‚в„ўs cheated on themРІР‚в„ў says Doug, РІР‚Вso the way we look at it that means there are 20% that we can help.
